GSE 2.3.02 Sequence viewer doesn't load /gsse doesn't work

Only addons I have is this and ace3, cant get it to even run /gs or /gsse as previously used to import macros.

Beta 12 works though anything newer I get nothing, am I missing something ?

Did you download from here or Curse ad the package here is just the dev version. The full version is only on Curse. TimothyLuke

tried both ways, by themselves neither worked, even tested it out on 3 different computers thinking something might be borked. downloading it directly from here = no go. Downloading it and installing it from curse / twitch = no go, only addons that were even in the folder was gse and ace3.

Though the moment I installed beta 12, and then copied the files from either over the top of that, it worked perfectly on all 3 computers.

very strange, I can replicate it over and over exactly the same way each time, I tested this out several times just to make sure, 100% replicate-able on my end using 3 computers.

while writing this I had my friend as well try it, same exact issue.

apparently solved it by using the beta 12 and then copy and pasting over that with the new version, so something didn't get moved over that needed to be.

when you extract the ZIP are you putting the three folders directly in the root of the addons folder? Asking as I cant replicate your problem

yes, GSE, GSE_GUI, GSE_LDB.

Hell I even put all the files and folders of the zip in there to try.

BTW bit of background, Im not new to computers, I have a masters degree in computer science, I have worked for HP and amazon as a programmer and a designer. I am not inept when it comes to troubleshooting and figuring out issues.

I can replicate this on everyone's computer I have tried this on, also every single one of my friends in guild that use this addon have had this exact issue, I did show them how to fix the way I described it to you, and now it works.

I just downloaded 2.3.02 from Curse, extracted to a new install of WoW the three folders loaded game into the add ons folder and it worked first time. I deleted this and used Twitch Client pointed it at the WoW install and told it to install only GSE and it worked. I’m watching your video. Your download from GitHub won’t work on its own. You don’t have any of the 13 libraries. You need to get the download from Curse.com. The package here is a dev snapshot that is sent to Curse to build a release package with the libraries that are not present within my GitHub repository. Download link here: https://www.curseforge.com/wow/addons/gse-gnome-sequencer-enhanced-advanced-macros Front page of this GitHub repository says don’t download this from this repository.
