I've been having this issue lately where GSE will randomly stop working, no Importing, no functionality, no button presses or anything, it will allow me to bring up the Screen and see my Macros but I can't add new Macros, it seems to happen when I have to reset my UI and redo all of my macros. /gse still shows me a menu and I can tinker with the macros I already have and the options button works, but thats about it. To clarify again the Macros themselves do not work.

I really need some meaningful information to work on rather than "I did something which I can't define and now things don't work." How do I cause your problem to occur?

Reinstall all of your addons and then sytematically add new Macros from the website on 11 different characters, thats How it occurs for me.

I can do that for hours and not get an issue. But then I am very particular about the macros I do import.
It sounds like you are importing a broken macro and I would refer to https://wowlazymacros.com/t/gse2-howto-fix-unable-to-import-macros/3667 The easy way to test that is just work on one class and and clear its library then create a new macro from items in your spell book.

But I also backup my GSE.lua file so that when I redo my UI i dont have to keep reimporting.

I'd like to add it doesn't Just stop me from importing, it kills all of my other characters Macros as well regardless of Class, it's like GSE is there and the Macros are too but none of them work, I have all of the Debug Tabs checked and it just gives the normal Data Finalized speal

After following your tips and another Reinstall, I have narrowed it down to Just a single class now (So Far) I got the Rest to Work but my Warrior with the Corrupt Macro possibly, I'm unsure as I still don't get any Debug info on it

There must be something in your UI that is conflicting with GSE

I'm looking into that now as I ran into another issue importing, its weird how it only has issues with Warrior so far

https://wowlazymacros.com/t/fury-warrior-true-lazy-one-button/5475 is the only other Macro I used, as far as UI goes I only really use Dominos and Sexymap apart from things like Handy Notes, I'm not very Addon Savy but I try to keep them minimal, Not even the Sample Macros are loading

I got it fixed and was able to recreate it and the fix doing the following:
1: Running /run GSELibrary[1] = {}
2: Logout and Back in
3: Importing https://wowlazymacros.com/t/fury-warrior-true-lazy-one-button/5475
4: Renaming it to Fury via right click edit (because I lol too much that it says ELFYZONEBUTT)
5: "Heard the "Fatality" From Bugsack/Bug grabber and Viola macro bugged again

It still works this time, but it won't let me import the renamed Macro or new macros, so it's a 60% recreation?

This Time around I got it to add the renamed copy of the macro but it's corrupted and doesn't work, seems to have something to do with renaming the Macros, despite being a 1 to 1 copy just renamed, it some how is getting broken in the rename process and breaking future imports as well.

Yup, that was the Issue, Fury1 works just fine, Srry to have bothered you, but at least it was a semi-legit issue, I had no Idea I couldn't use a generic name and have never read anything about not using them, I'm sure I have used that name in the past as Fury was my go name for my warrior fury macro, but times change and I guess my naming schemes need to be a bit better from now on, thanks again for a wonderful addon and dealing with my lack of knowledge yet again, keep up the good work!

*As a side note would it be possible to ban such names in the future to avoid lock-ups and corrupting future macros?
