Hi there. I've just recently picked the game back up and i've been trying to get all my add-ons working, progressively updating and weeding out the no longer functional items.
Issue i'm having with GSE is that it constantly states 'out of date', and the slash commands do not work no matter what i do.
I've attempted to use it in only Classic as that's all i'm interested in playing, i was hoping there'd be some sort of fix in the reported issues section but i was not able to ascertain a potential source for why it isn't working in Classic. So, i'm assuming it isn't a program based problem, but is instead my own failing.

I've uninstalled and reinstalled multiple times, attempted to load add on to no avail.

Are you installing the Classic version from Curse? There are two versions on Curse for each release. They are both code identical the difference is the value in the TOC file for retail or classic. The other thing is if you choose load out of date addons on the addon list page either version will work in either client. TimothyLuke
