Mod Keys not working, kinda

Hi Tim

i just recently countering this issues not sure if wow or GSE. First let me paste the mods

/cast [mod:lctrl] Roll the Bones
/cast [mod:lshift] Pistol Shot
/cast [mod:lalt] Eviscerate
/cast [mod:rcontrol] Between the Eyes
/cast [mod:rshift] Slice and Dice
/cast [mod:ralt] Blade Flurry

before pre-patch, there were no issues working through this i can press left or right control and both working separately. Now it seem like my bottom 3 mods are no longer working as the macro doesn't register it or think there's no left or right control key just control key now.

is there any work around this? is there any other key i can use for mods as temporary

GSE hasn’t changed in this regard. I would however look at cast [mod:rcontrol] Between the Eyes should be cast [mod:rctrl] Between the Eyes Are there any mod:ctrl lines as well? If there are and they are before these you might have an order issue. TimothyLuje

Hi Tim

i tried what you said still doesn't work as soon as Roll the bones goes into cool down press rctrl doesn't do anything as it think rctrl is the button for Roll the bones

just changed to this and test it but for whatever reason system think there's only 1 control

have keybindings changed? or did you turn on Macro reset stuff in the options?

i pressed clear keybinding and update macro stubs multiple times, it still doesnt work.

but i noticed this in my chat log maybe you can identify?

Yeah it’s seeing both Right Control and Control and Mod:xxxxxxxx - it’s not your key bindings but it’s your macro. WoO processes and mod then and mod type and then specific type. (Ie any ctrl, alt, shift -> any ctrl -> right control) First one that is true that has a GcD ability wins so you have these 6 lines but if before them you have a [mod] or [mod:ctrl] line they will take priority over [mod:rctrl] TimothyLuke

Hi Tim
sorry for being a noob but base on below, I would need 6 separates mod keys. can you fix below or show me how you arranged them? i tried different combination but all seem to use a single control , shift or alt button it no longer separate them like it used to. i tried all method it doesn't work so im going to try to uninstall wow delete everything in wow folder and reinstall to see if it fix

Hi Tim below are my full Macro, as you can see im doing Semi-manual macro which i need to press mods when i get procs on pistol shots and Between the eyes. since these mods no longer work my dps dipped significantly if i go full auto.

any news on this tim? or any chance we can set mod other than Shift Control Alt? maybe an option to set mod to key numbers (1-9? or INS HOME DEL END, etc...?)

It’s not a GSE problem - it’s a WoW problem. GSE simply passes the command to WoW and if it won’t recognise it there is nothing I can do. GSE can’t add any other mod keys as it can only use what WoW specifies. All GSE does is provide an advanced interface to write a macro. WoW still does the execution. All I can suggest is to keep playing with the order or using the ; else syntax Eg /cast [mod:lshift] spell1; [mod:rshift] spell2; [mod:shift] spell3; [mod:lalt] spell 5 ...... etc TimothyLuke
