Just logged in and noticed I was getting the "you have no macros, do you want to load" message yet I do have my macros so I just went into settings and unchecked to notify about but the other issue I have is when im using the macro it's spamming my chat in white text with what it's doing so basically the macro itself as it's being played out. Never had this happen before please assist if able.

Also just noticed I can't edit the macro anymore either as when I click the edit button nothing happens. I have tried fully logging out and that didn't resolve.

Having the exact same issue. Addon auto updated to the Alpha version even though the WoWUP tool says to only install stable versions.

Wowup will do what Wowup does. Apparently it’s install the alpha automatically for some people. I can’t solve that (wowup needs to) but appreciate the “what the f” moment if you got the alpha by surprise

By the way - the macro is actually executing. This is just showing you exactly what is being executed. It’s only appearing in your chat window - your not “saying” it or broadcasting it.

Ah was multi-tasking when I wrote this that didn't even notice it had updated to the alpha version when I don't have that checked off for WoWup like the other commenter so will contact them. Thanks for the clarification and fast reply. Truly appreciate all your hard work!
