I have set up gse to only show class macros for my current specialization
I have 0 macros in panel showing
I make a new, give a name, and it says name already exists.

I know it exists on some other spec, but ... Is it a reasonable thing to ask for GSEStorage to have more structure accounting for global and spec macros? So we can have same name macros on multiple specs, doing different things?

As it’s a Blizzard limitation - you can only have one macro with a particular name. You can’t have the same name for a macro even if you are in different specs.

What you see as a macro is a series of buttons and objects that can’t be renamed.

also every time you change specs each macro reconfigures for the current spec.

You also cannot use the name of an object from any another mod - eg generic things like PvP etc
