Quest update frame not showing when using GSE

Not sure what the frame is called but it is the yellow quest tracker/update at the top of the screen. It does not show up while using GSE. If i disable the addon the tracker works fine. Are there some things I can try to troubleshoot the problem? Thanks for your time.
Is the tracker another mod as it works for me perfectly.

Thanks for your response. I should have said that this only happens on some of my characters, not all. But the ones that it happens on, if i don't load GSE, the tracker works fine. I really love this addon and appreciate the time.
Mate, You're not giving me anything to go on.
I would suggest you disable all your mods, enable GSE - does it still
happen? If the problem doesn't then you have an addon conflict and from
that its enable your mods one by one until you find the culprit. If it was
GSE causing your tracker to disappear it would do it to ALL your characters
not some.

Ok checked out all the other addons, no problems at all. If I use the default Sample macros, it works great. When I imported another macro, that is when the tracker/update disappears. So this issue doesn't appear to be with GSE.
Then I’d be looking closely at what the macro is doing. It may be that the macro is malformed or doing something specific to how the macro author plays.
