i've just tried to import this

How do you want me to send you the Lua. i dont seem to be able to send it on this, saying it doesnt accept it
yeh i've just gooned myself, Lua file type is now associated as a notepad file, got any clue how to change it back....?
yeh, it was imported like i said. but then after it would not open. is there anything you can see that is stopping GSE from opening?
GSE was woring fine until i updated it from curseforge this morning. then it started playing up.
Mate thats a shaman macro and you are on a paladin - did you want to try turning on the show all macros?
ergh........ yes i know that. as i have just said. i logged my pala to see if i was having the same issues and it seems that i am
I cant make head or tail of it - the only last thing I can suggest is to try this alpha: https://www.curseforge.com/wow/addons/gse-gnome-sequencer-enhanced-advanced-macros/files/3372229
Its a hail mary and if it fixes things I wont know why
If i follow your steps it works for me. I really need a lot more information like - what class/spec you are and the macro you are trying to import Plus the error you are alluding to with "See Error"
HI ,
basically i've been able to save macros up until yesterday, it started not saving edits. So i deleted the addon and removed any saved veriables from wtf folder to allow me to start fresh.
i did this yesterday and when i downloaded the addon again it was fine after the first edit made and then started stacking stuff in que and wouldnt save anything.
Then today, i downloaded the update from curseforge and was in game making some edits, i saved and after that, the editor wouldnt open up anymore.
Right, so i've just deleted saved variables and deleted add on again. restarted pc and reinstalled again.
i've not imported any macros yet and GSE has opened up for me.
yeh so, i have imported a sequence and the main menu didnt pop back up and now i cant open GSE
Hi, so yeh. ive completly reinstalled the game. updated all add ons and updated to 3.0.8 GSE. It started off working fine and then i used the loop function with in the editor. after that it started not wanting to save and when the editor is closed it will not open the main menu up. ive attached the lastest Lua file for you
There is something happening at your end. I can use this file - import macros to it, delete macros from it, update macros and for me it "Just Works" Ive tried with all other addons enabled, all addons disabled.
I had the same issue.
I noticed you both are running some version of TukUI or ElvUI.
Have you (Schliver) updated your version of TukUI/ElvUI to the latest?!
That single action fixed the issue on my end I and could once again:
- Import strings of premade macros others had created.
- Save the macros.
- Make new ones from scratch.
- etc..

This is good to know - thank you.
Not on my end. I've had issues when importing a macro and then adding a loop. The macro would seem to erase itself, but if I then added a secondary later (2nd chart) the original macro would reappear.
