I now must choose either 2 or 3, but I have macros under both version for different characters forcing me to stay at 2.

I'd like to have 2 add-ons, GSE and GSE3 so that I can enable the one I need per character.

Staying with GSE 2 for now until authors update.

Unfortunately that’s not possible. Even if they were renamed the functions all depend on the GSE API which are completely different in each version. One would break the other and totally destroy its macros . You would randomly get either GSE2 or GSE3 and totally corrupt the data. Installing gSE3 then reverting GSE2 will destroy all gSE3’s data and leave you unable to then go back to gSE3 without either wiping all your data or performing manual intervention.
