I think that the icon thumbnail takes a lot of space at the top of the Sequence Editor.
I mean... not the icon itself but the way it moves when you resize the window increases the height of this "header" area.

Depending on how you resize the window, the icon thumbnail moves to the right side of the window, or moves below the Sequence Name.

I understand that you wanted to place the icon on the right side but I tend to think that the icon thumbnail would also fit nicely next to the Sequence Name input box, with a fixed position. Don't you think?

Place the Icon Thumbnail next to the Sequence Name, at a fixed position (to avoid it moving below it).

Or just keep it on the right (it's a good location too, one I even prefer) but in this case, would it be possible to make the icon not move below the Sequence Name when the window is resized?

I've moved it to the left and shrunk it a bit to give more editor space as part of #871
