Settings don't transfer correctly even though multiple characters are sharing the same profile.

  1. Set profile Default on character 1
  2. Set profile Default on character 2
  3. On character 2, go to K'aresh and open the map.
  4. Click the HandyNotes icon and change the Nearby Types that are selected.
  5. Logout and swap to character 1.
  6. On character 1, go to K'aresh and open the map.
  7. Click the HandyNotes icon and you will see that the options selected in (4) are still on the default.

I'm sorry to have to tell you this, but this is the wrong HandyNotes: The War Within.
Please report this to the other one or feel free to use ours.

I got linked to this finally -- I'll note that neither of our plugins support this, because this is a complaint about changing the HandyNotes database profile not affecting the plugin's internal database profile, and neither of us use child databases of the core HandyNotes database which would handle that.

So you may not want to close it as invalid even though it wasn't really a report about your plugin. (Though "not planned" sounds pretty reasonable -- it'd be a nuisance to keep it in sync.)
