Feature Request

It would be incredibly helpful to have the ability to attach Hekili frames to ElvUI frames, such as the player frame. Some WeakAuras dynamically adjust frame positions based on detecting or removing spells, and having Hekili automatically adjust to these changes would be a great quality-of-life improvement. This would eliminate the need to manually reposition Hekili whenever frame changes occur due to WeakAuras, making it a smoother experience for users who rely on both addons.

this would be awesome! I saw some weakauras integrating pretty well with the elvui frame on wago, but they are several years old..

Probably, it gets asked once in awhile. No idea how difficult that is lol.

I think there's an open ticket for allowing you to anchor to a specified frame. The major open questions on this subject are:

• What if the specified frame is not present?
• What if the specified frame is not visible?
• What if the specified frame is mobile?
• What if any of the above changes at any given point?

One of the factors here, is that display visibility helps determine whether to try to generate recommendations for a particular display. If one or more displays are anchored in an odd place that results in them being hidden, it could cause a lot of confusion. I'd need to be able to capture all those configuration details in snapshots to help debug if there are errors related to custom anchoring.
