  • I checked for an existing, open ticket for this request and was not able to find one.

Feature Request

In the latest version, Elemental Shamans need to select the elemental_equilibrium talent. It's an aura with a hidden counterpart. The description says that after dealing Fire/Frost/Nature spell damage within 10 seconds, a 10% damage-increasing buff is triggered for 10 seconds. This effect can be triggered once every 30 seconds, meaning it's a proc - based skill with a 10 - second duration and a 20 - second CD.

This implies:
①It's a proc - based skill that requires specific skill combos or Elemental Blast to trigger.
②The debuff has a hidden 20 - second CD detectable by WA, so Hekili should also detect it.
③If detectable, I can use specific conditions like !buff to release missing Fire/Frost/Nature spell damage and trigger the buff.

From a real - world M+ combat perspective, it's essential to add this. There's a coverage issue since it can auto - occur, but we need to land Fire/Frost/Nature hits within 10 seconds.

This is quite demanding. If we can control it with code like !buff.elemental_equilibrium_fire.up, we could achieve nearly 100%
coverage and reliably get that 10% bonus during Ascendance.
The main challenge would be handling hybrid - damage skills. For example, Flame Shock is Fire + Nature, and Elemental Blast is Fire + Frost + Nature. But Elemental Blast - triggered Elemental Equilibrium doesn't benefit from the Elemental Equilibrium bonus.

I tried using buff.elemental_equilibrium_debuff.down to detect when the buff fades and cast Frost Shock to trigger something at a certain rate. However, I've found that its value is always true.

The sims, guides, class discord, etc all say you don't need to purposefully play around this talent. It will just happen.

What is the uptime in existing sims (Patchwerk, HecticAddCleave, DungeonSlice)? If it has 10 second uptime and 30 second cooldown, 33% uptime would be the max we'd expect to see. The default profile achieves 33.43% uptime.

Based on my M+ raiding experience, with a Season 1 score of 3500+ and a Season 2 score of 3150+, the key to mastering elemental_equilibrium isn't just coverage, but timing. Ideally, trigger it right before casting ascendance to benefit from its bonuses. Also, aim to activate it when your maelstrom is high so that elemental_blast and earthquake can benefit from both elemental_equilibrium and master_of_the_elements.

I've included two 5-minute single-target rotation screenshots. One is the default Elemental SimC rotation, and the other is my custom Hekili rotation. The custom rotation shows a DPS increase of over 200,000 in single-target fights.

Therefore, creating specific judgment statements for elemental_equilibrium is crucial, especially for hybrid-damage skills like flame_shock and elemental_blast, as well as single-element skills like frost_shock, lava_burst, and lightning_bolt.

They triggered elemental_equilibrium only nine times. However, by making it activate right before ascendance, I significantly boosted the burst damage, resulting in a 200k DPS increase. This would make it a top-tier DPS.
