Before You Begin
- I confirm that I have downloaded the latest version of the addon.
- I am not playing on a private server.
- I checked for an existing, open ticket for this issue and was not able to find one.
- I edited the title of this issue (above) so that it describes the issue I am reporting.
- I am reporting an issue with the default priority included with the specialization (imported or edited priorities are not supported).
Spec
DH - Havoc
Describe the Issue
same as my last ticket: EB sometimes doesn't get recommended even if we are in meta form and can death sweep. When we have meta, the best rec would be EB into death sweep into meta into 2nd sweep. Sometimes I noticed that after the big glaive the addon recommends using death sweep first instead of annihilation
How to Reproduce
- enter game as havoc
- play a m+ dungeon or dummies should also work
- execute recommendations

Can you do a quicksim instead of a topgear? Much easier to read

For your reavers glaive -> deathsweep point: So do the sims sometimes.
For your essence break point, I don't understand why you think it should be casting it during the snapshots you took. It seems to be failing the conditions for completely ordinary reasons. You said EB > Sweep > Meta > Sweep, but out of 8 snapshots you only put a single one that had meta available, and that one wouldn't cast it because eye beam was too close to being off CD (6 seconds).
For the disappearing icons, seems like it's just waiting for fury to generate from demon blades or picking up souls.
Didn't manage to reproduce the double glaive thingy on dummies (simc doesn't show it either). As for the big glaive, I explained myself wrongly: afaik we should use death sweep first after big glaive for ST but in aoe it should not happen. In this other snapshot it did https://pastes.io/glaive-319 This is needed to proc Fury of the Aldrachi as stated in guides too https://www.icy-veins.com/wow/havoc-demon-hunter-pve-dps-rotation-cooldowns-abilities?area=area_2
The same error happens in ST where the addon recommends casting annihilation first instead of sweep/dance. Although in this case it is trickier since sometimes we might throw the glaive and have dance/sweep on cd but in the snapshot it was available https://pastes.io/f-61830-61
Basically in ST we annihilation second and in AOE we death sweep/dance second

EDIT: managed to reproduce double glaive issue https://pastebin.com/x1743ZzF
It happens when we have The hunt mainly, as the sims also suggests we should first consume our enhancements first and then send the 2nd glaive

All good for for disappearing icons. About glaive, I would monitor the APL because IMHO it might be a mistake (I will ask on havoc Discord) since it's weird to send another glaive before consuming the enhancements. Will keep you updated on this.
As for EB, I might have not captured the right moment for the snapshot, but what it happens is that sometimes it doesn't get recommended after Eye Beam even though meta is 40s or more away. I'll try to get another snapshot if you prefer, and I will also check if EB conditions reflect that
Basically in ST we annihilation second and in AOE we death sweep/dance second
But the sims do both ... in the ST sim there are times where it does blade dance first, and times where it does annihilation first. The sims and the guides appear to disagree, and we follow the sims.

But there is no line for that in the APL in the glaive entries, in fact reavers glaive is never called from the opener list in the sims.
Try deleting the opener list entry

It seems like the sim needs to be tweaked, so we need to wait for the APL writers to do it so that they can align with the guides because if you check them you understand why that enhancements order makes sense. I will try deleting the opener list entry, can you explain exactly what and how i need to delete?
In addition, i found another wrong rec regarding vengeful retreat and eye beam here: https://pastebin.com/HCwXVGwY
As you can see the addon is recommending to eye beam before the retreat is up. This must not happen since we lose the Initiative buff with Eye beam. As you can see from my actions list is a very easy fix where you can just make the addon recommend annihilation until you can retreat into beam to get the Initiative buff
Nothing is a "wrong rec" unless you provide a sim link side-by-side showing the behavior you're calling out. And if it's a different topic, it belongs in a different ticket. There's too much in this thread for me to even begin to track.
Syrif is correct that we follow the sims. Please check vs. sims before submitting additional reports.
Re: Eye Beam
- eye_beam ( ar - 22 )
The action (eye_beam) is usable at (0.00 + 0.00) with cost of 30 fury (have 120).
- the action is ready before the current recommendation (at +0.00 vs. +2.43).
List ( ar ) called from ( Havoc:default:5 ) would PASS at 0.00.
hero_tree.aldrachi_reaver[true]- this entry's criteria PASSES: ( cooldown.blade_dance.remains[0.60] < 7 | raid_event.adds.up[true] ) & ( ! variable.trinket1_steroids[false] & ! variable.trinket2_steroids[false] | variable.trinket1_steroids[false] & trinket.t1.has_stat.any_dps[false] & trinket.t1.has_cooldown[false] & ( trinket.t1.cooldown.remains[120.00] < gcd.max[1.00] * 3 | trinket.t1.cooldown.remains[120.00] > 30 ) | variable.trinket2_steroids[false] & trinket.t2.has_stat.any_dps[false] & trinket.t1.has_cooldown[false] & ( trinket.t2.cooldown.remains[0.00] < gcd.max[1.00] * 3 | trinket.t1.cooldown.remains[120.00] > 30 ) ) | fight_remains[53.08] < 10
The selected entry for Eye Beam has no checks related to Initiative. If you want to modify it and run comparison simcs, you could recommend changes to the sim profile and we would make changes when SimC does.
