Before You Begin

  • I confirm that I have downloaded the latest version of the addon.
  • I am not playing on a private server.
  • I checked for an existing, open ticket for this issue and was not able to find one.
  • I edited the title of this bug report (above) so that it describes the issue I am reporting.

Describe the Issue

Both empower spells, eternity surge and fire breath, come up on the hekili rotation (both ST and AOE) as being available to use with 3+ seconds left on their respective cooldowns.

This was not an issue before yesterday's [4/13/25] update.

How to Reproduce

  1. Enter game as Dev Evoker
  2. Enter combat + use Fire breath & Eternity Surge
  3. Continue combat until hekili recommends using them again

I don't see anything wrong here. The add-on uses a sequential queue. By the time you finish with deep breath, fire breath will be ready.

By the time you finish both of those, eternity surge will be ready.

Hey,
deep breath is not a 4 second long ability, the screenshot i captured wasn't immediately when firebreath was showing on hekili it was when both were showing for proof purposes.

Not to mention this has never shown this way the entire time i have played.

Did you try actually following the recommendations to see if the timings work out?

The snapshot you posted also doesn't match what's on your screen. You need to do it when the "wrong" suggestions are on your screen

Having a quick peek, it could be the time estimate of deep breath.

If you do a maximum distance deep breath, is your fire breath ready when you land? And then on a "short" deep breath it's not?

yes multiple times
& like i said i'd been using this for a while now and have never had either of these abilities queued in such a way until the update

First, you gotta provide the snapshot that's relevant to the ask.

deep breath is not a 4 second long ability

You're right...ish. On my machine, a maximum distance Deep Breath took 3.443 seconds. That's pretty close to 4 / 1.14 (14% haste). I'll adjust the forecasted Deep Breath travel time accordingly.

If you have a question about the Deep Breath > Fire Blast > Eternity Surge scenario, you have to provide a snapshot when that's actually happening. Since that may be resolved...ish when I update the Deep Breath travel time, you'll need to open a new ticket with that specific question should it happen again.

cool, Ill see how it looks later when Im on

But also, wouldn't it be a bit strange for the scenario to always assume max distance deep breath which in 9/10 cases will never be used? Shortest deep breath possible is way less time
