Before You Begin

  • I confirm that I have downloaded the latest version of the addon.
  • I am not playing on a private server.
  • I checked for an existing, open ticket for this issue and was not able to find one.
  • I edited the title of this bug report (above) so that it describes the issue I am reporting.

Describe the Issue

About every hour, WoW will crash and generate a crash dump. I have had chatgpt analyze the crash dump and hekili is always in the stack.

The instruction at "0x00007ff6df73edbb" referenced memory at "0xffffffffffffffff". The memory could not be "read".

Stack:
[string "@Interface/AddOns/Hekili/UI.lua"]:2364: in function <Interface/AddOns/Hekili/UI.lua:2362>

I was just running a dungeon at the time. Typically happens during dungeon runs.

Hekili version: v11.1.0-1.0.24c
Retail WoW
Direct X 12 is used
GPU: RTX 4080
Driver: 32.0.0015.7283 (2025-03-14)
OS: Windows 11

There is an open ticket for this issue.

There's also literally nothing I can do about this issue; it appears to be a Blizzard issue. This addon will be in the stack often because it uses a coroutine to split up its work.

This also happened when loading a character from the character screen.

As explained, this is not an addon issue so there is no need to report further details on this ticket. You can submit bug reports on the official Blizzard forums, or search for related Intel processor issues.
