Vampiric Touch in rotation

Feature Request
In the current spec that I'm using Hekili is suggesting, I put vampiric touch repeatedly on the same target. This seems only to happen when there are other targets nearby, regardless of whether they are in combat or not. I did not the carat text on the rotation icon telling me to switch targets.

You're playing with Unfurling Darkness (and have the buff up), that's probably why it's getting recommended.

Although the snapshot says the talent is disabled, which seems to be weird. Had that happen with other priest talents (shadowfiend not being recommended as disc because mindbender wasn't learned, which shouldn't really happen...)

Thank you for the rapid response. This is enlightening. I made a WeakAura to make Unfurling Darkness buff more easily visible, and I now understand what was happening (working as intended; user misperception).
