Hunter 11.2 Changes
- New Talent: Harmonize
- Pet damage increased by 4% (choice node with Explosive Shot).
Dev note: Explosive Shot hasn’t found a great home in Beast Mastery’s kit, so we’re offering an opportunity to trade it for some pet damage.
- Pet damage increased by 4% (choice node with Explosive Shot).
- Blackrock Munitions
- Now also increases the pet-damage bonus of Harmonize by 2%.
- Moment of Opportunity
- Remove internal cooldown.
Hero Talent Specific Changes
Dark Ranger
- Bleak Powder
- Now deals reduced damage beyond 8 targets.
- Reposition several talents.
- New Talent: Umbral Reach
- Black Arrow periodic damage ↑ 100%.
- Bleak Powder now applies Black Arrow’s periodic effect to each enemy it damages.
- If Bleak Powder damages ≥ 2 enemies, gain Beast Cleave/Trick Shots (if talented).
Dev note: Making Black Arrow’s periodic damage effect easier to apply should make Phantom Pain substantially easier to use.
- The Bell Tolls
- Now baseline on Black Arrow: casting Black Arrow increases all you & pet damage by 3% for 12 s (can overlap).
- Soul Drinker
- Black Arrow damage ↑ 15%; Bleak Powder damage ↑ 20%.
- Withering Fire
- Now prioritizes targets without Black Arrow’s periodic effect.
- Black Arrow’s periodic damage is now a rolling periodic.
- Dark Hounds no longer have a chance to summon alongside Dire Beasts.
- Black Arrow damage ↑ 20% for Beast Mastery only.
- Phantom Pain share ↑ 20% for Beast Mastery; ↑ 30% for Marksmanship.

- Beast Mastery: Black Arrow arrow damage ↑ 10% and Bleak Powder damage ↑ 20%; Call of the Wild cooldown ↓ 60 s.
- Marksmanship & Survival: Black Arrow arrow damage ↑ 10% and Bleak Powder damage ↑ 20%; Trueshot cooldown ↓ 30 s.
- Manaforge Omega 4-Set (Hunter Dark Ranger 11.2 Class Set 4pc)
- Withering Fire’s Black Arrow damage ↑ 50% (was 25%).
- Consuming Deathblow has a 50% chance (all specs) to cause all Black Arrow barrages during your next Withering Fire to fire 1 additional Black Arrow.
Pack Leader
- Shell Cover
- When < 60% health, summon a Turtle reducing damage by 15%, scaling up to 35% at 10% health. 90 s cooldown.
- Better Together
- Pet damage ↑ 5% / 15%; Frenzy’s attack speed ↑ 4% / Tip of the Spear’s damage ↑ 10%.
- Howl of the Pack Leader
- Now shows an activation overlay when a Beast summon is ready.
Sentinel
- Lunar Storm
- Reset cooldowns of Rapid Fire and Wildfire Bomb immediately when Lunar Storm becomes available.
Dev note: Reduces cognitive load and adds excitement.

- Marksmanship: Rapid Fire damage ↑ 25%; when Lunar Storm fades, gain Boon of Elune—next 2 Aimed Shots deal Arcane damage and +20%.
- Beast Mastery & Survival: Wildfire Bomb damage ↑ 10%; when Lunar Storm fades, gain Boon of Elune—next 2 Wildfire Bombs deal Arcane damage and initial damage ↑ 150%.
- Manaforge Omega 4-Set (Hunter Sentinel 11.2 Class Set 4pc)
- Sentinel’s damage ↑ 25%.
- Boon of Elune now remains active for the duration of Lunar Storm at 100% effectiveness (no extra-stack activation).

Spec Changes

- New Talent: Wildspeaker
- Dire Beasts obey Kill Command at 30% effectiveness.
- Bestial Wrath now enrages your Dire Beasts for +15% damage for 15 s.
- Dire Beasts summoned during Bestial Wrath now benefit from Wildspeaker’s damage bonus at a reduced duration.
- Mastery: Master of Beasts
- Now also increases damage of your shots & traps at 50% value.
Dev note: Reduces player-sourced damage imbalance (Black Arrow, Barbed Shot).
- Now also increases damage of your shots & traps at 50% value.
- Dire Beast → Passive: your bleed effects have a 7% chance to attract a wild beast for 8 s.
- Bloodshed (redesigned):
- Duration 12 s (was 18 s); tick every 1 s (was 3 s); bleed damage ↑ substantially; higher Dire Beast chance.
- Killer Instinct
- Kill Command damage ↑ 5% / 10%.
Dev note: Tames Beast Mastery’s execute compared to Marksmanship.
