I know this addon is very close looking to the new combined default UI bag but still wish I could use the new default bag but use just the bank portion of this addon since Blizz did not add a combined bag to the bank.

No, this is not possible or planned. Whats the reason not to use Inventorian for your bag? You still get searching and other features that the default bag does not offer.
