Nameplates fade out the further away from the target

This has never happened before the latest update, the further away from the mobs I am, the less visible the nameplates are. If the body of the enemy is not visible their nameplate will also fade out really heavily. Thats. I assume you found the options?
I simplified how KNP draws on nameplates, which leads to some of the game's built-in behaviour being inherited.
If I disable that behaviour automatically, it would stay disabled even if KNP was removed.
So I use the "allow knp to modify cvars" option to 'ask for permission.'
It's a change from the old behaviour (although if you hadn't been using KNP you'd have encountered it before) so I tried to make it clear without putting messages in chat (which usually get missed anyway) or other such intrusive things.
