It's a bit hard to explain what's happening. But some friendly units have nameplates that can't be toggled off. I believe it has something to do with some new nameplate features introduced late in BfA. Nazjatar followers and the Aqir pet from Uldum both have it. The Aqir pet I know has an experience bar associated with the nameplate that doesn't show while Kui is active. Those nameplates always showing have bottered me for a while, but it's become an issue with the release of Shadowlands.

There are some objects in the shadowlands that use some new nameplate feature, so they have these friendly, impossible to hide nameplates, but on top of them, there are some new icons, or bars that are overlapping with the Kui plates.

Is there a way to disable these nameplates, without disabling this new feature? Or a way to incorporate this new feature into Kui?
