You should probably log that as a bug with wowup.

LiteMount is uploaded to three places:

• https://addons.wago.io/addons/litemount
• https://www.curseforge.com/wow/addons/litemount
• https://www.wowinterface.com/downloads/info26329-LiteMount.html

And all three have been correctly on the newest version during this time.

I see the wowuphub page is broken:

I don't own this page or have any control over it or way to update it. I don't know how versions get there.

I would suggest you don't use wowuphub at all.

I literally just tested it in story mode just a minute ago, and I clearly can't mount via litemount.

I just realized what the issue was, for whatever reason the version on WoWUpHub was two versions out of date from what was on Curse, I switched the provider of the addon in WoWUp to Curse, and the issue is fixed.
