WowUp/CurseBreaker/etc "updated" LiteMount to a really old version

It just says "You can't do that right now."
Of course I'd make a new character today to experience this.
Update: Now that I'm in Stormwind and have Apprentice Riding it still says "You can't do that right now." when I press my Litemount keybind.
Update 2: I swapped to my main. The addon simply doesn't work now. It doesn't let me mount using its keybind anymore.
There was no update, WowUp is broken.
I have no way to fix whatever is broken in WowUp, you will either have to use a different updater or update the addon by hand. I suggest raising this as a bug with WowUp to see if they can find and fix it.
@gotex007 check your version. Probably you use wowup and it updated addon today to an old version
It's 8.3.21. WowUp pulls from Curseforge so why would it update to an old version? How do I fix that?
It's not only WoWUP, CurseBreaker does the same.

Yeah seems to be all third-party updaters, the CurseForge API is broken somehow.
I've logged it with CurseForge, and deleted the old files so at least it won't downgrade. There's nothing else I can do.

The project doesn't have any releases.
I don't have any other issues, updating hundreds of addons.
Have never done addon releases, but isn't there an option for new releases that might have been forgotten to be ticked or something?
The project does have the release on the website. I did just decide to manually install the proper version and temporarily tell WowUp to not automatically update it. Really weird that it can't detect the new 9.1.16 version either though.
