Arena groups are apparently raid instances so I'll need to find a way to force the group layout in them.

There's probably a solution with macro conditionals to show the correct frames. Something like:
[arena1][arena2][arena3]
otherwise I'll need to check for IsActiveBattlefieldArena on zone change/login to change the show conditions on the raid/party frames
