Another feature that would be amazing in this addon, would be to mark certain characters as blacklisted which would then stop them appearing in the chat or ldb outputs. For me this would be useful to blacklist bank alts who I have no intention of levelling beyond level 5 (level 5 is required to pick up enchanting :D)

I appreciate this is harder to implement and would take more time :)

I think this would be best as a chat command like "/rested ignore CharacterName" but I'm open to other ideas. I'm working on adding an options menu. This could possibly fit in there as a checkbox. "hide characters below level 5"

I think a chat command would be fine, easy to document and does what it needs, realm needs to be considered, perhaps if you just do /rested ignore it could ignore the character you are currently logged in to (name and realm), would seem to be quite a good way to handle it from a user perspective.

I have also noticed, level 60's currently show in the list also, would be nice if they could be filtered out also automatically.

Both things will be addressed next release. Hopefully I can get everything cleaned up and ready to go in the next few days.

^ This is amazing stuff, i've been using the addon for a short time now and it's wonderful to see another addon developer using git/pr's, having a decent license on curse etc :)
