World Map shows pets from professions, e.g. Enchanted Lantern in Twilight Highlands. These pets are not tied to particular location, so it does not make sense to show them on world map. Only ones from archeology may stay.

Do not display profession pets on world map.

I second this and maybe Holiday pets as well.
