It would be nice to choose which side the pet bar is anchored to (left/right). And if possible grow up/down.

Cannot adjust pet frames separate from other bars however you can maybe adjust where they are using https://www.curseforge.com/wow/addons/plexuscustomlayouts . Other than that unlikely I will add anything else sorry.
