Description

If you get the quest from The Hermit in Duskwood before getting the breadcrumb quest from Elain Carevin. The quest The Hermit from Elain Carevin becomes unavailable as it is only a quest to lead you to him. I contacted blizzard and that was their explanation. However, even when you complete the entire quest chain the quest from Elain Carevin still shows up as if it is a quest you are still able to get. Also on WoW head there is a thread with someone saying the same thing. Once you get the quest from him and turn in the first part the quest from Elain Carevin then becomes unobtainable.
