It is still shown when I mouse over the location that was previously shown but it can't be seen otherwise. Someone knows why this is happening and are there some options that would fix this. Everything works fine on non transparent Cartogapher.

Further research shows, that the icons reappear when changing the zone after changing the background transparency.
