This is wrong, it should only be available to FISHERS (not cooks) that did the quest https://www.wowhead.com/wotlk/quest=6607/nat-pagle-angler-extreme . I did it on mine.
It should not be removed, it should be adjust to only be visible under those conditions.
This is not wrong at all, youre looking at the wrong one.
There are two different ones.
There are with ID 13826, and this is the false one, its also placed in fishing.
There is a correct one with ID 6607 is placed in cooking section and also available in wotlk, while the false one isnt. And thats the one i reported and should be removed, because its unavailable.
There are no false quests, i actually did the both on my char. Idk what the confusion is.
Version 1) the quest you can take and complete if you are a new character and did not complete the „old Version 1“ before Wotlk
Version 2) you can only take if completed „old Version 1“ before Wotlk and you can now not do „new Version 1“
Which means that on wotlk, one will be unavailable if you didnt do it in classic and transfered.
But two are definitely not available in wotlk, so the unavailable one shouldnt be shown as available in wotlk.
Theres no confusion here, its pretty straight forward.
Do you see the game offering the quest to me? No, the npc has nothing to offer. I completed one version already. The other one that isnt offered, shouldnt exists in the journey, its both misplaced in cooking and unavailable.
EDIT
This is not bugged, you can do both "clone" quests, you just have to destroy your old nat pagle fishing rod, the quest wasent attainable due to the item being unique :)
To confirm - my fix is to correct the data entry error that caused 13826 to be miscategorized as a Cooking quest rather than a Fishing quest in Journey. That being said, since this is a followup purely for rod replacement (or granting in the first place), then just like with #4531 and questID 13825, I'm going to blacklist it from Journey and the map.
