This sounds like another case of #4365 as we didn't change the default for these kind of settings.

Did you log out shortly after login or something like that?

Not that I am aware of. But yes... it did reset all my settings again.

We haven't changed this value since it was first introduced 4 years ago. If this setting is getting altered in some way, something else is at play - closing in favor of #4365.
