Latest Update causes massive lag and crashed upon opening map.

Can you confirm Questie version, client version, and any other installed addons?
Just to verify, Questie version is?
What happens if you disable all but questie and test?
Same issue, just updated and when opening my world map Questie causes frame drops to the point where it crashes my game.
@u1uw4tu @BingCrozz I can not reproduce this issue, so we need more help from you.
Please disable all addons except Questie and see if your game still crashes/lags, when you open the world map.
Also make sure you are running Questie v9.2.1 - we fixed a similar issue in the latest version.
Something similar happened to me as well last night specifically after updating to 9.2.1 and not changing anything else or any other addons. It only was happening during the Ashenvale WPvP event in SoD for me. It's almost like a memory leak where you open it at first and it's fine, but after opening it several times during the event (which you tend to do during the event to look at the map) it starts causing lag until it freezes the entire game for several seconds every time you try to open your map until you reload your UI and the process starts over again.
Doesn't appear to be happening outside the event that I noticed but the event isn't up so I can't test it again to make sure it's the event + questie.
I do have a number of other addons installed, but I had been to the event many times without this happening and it only started happening after updating questie last night.
edit: the only other addons I think that directly do something to the map that I can think of that were also on at the same time are nova world buffs, gathermate2 (classic version, which I only have showing treasures atm) and I think I had rarescanner on probably as well
edit2: did another event, at first there's just a slight bit of lag when opening the map, then maybe 5 minutes later after having opened it several times, it starts causing longer duration lag when opening the map and the map itself is missing and just an empty frame once it finally opens: https://imgur.com/a/dQGsleo
edit3: during another event where I didn't open the map much, it still happened later on during the event so it may have nothing to do with repeatedly opening the map but instead be trigggered by something that happens during the event.

I did an event with icons turned off and didn't experience the issue.
Can you try rolling back to 9.1.0 with icons re-enabled and see if you still get lag there?
There were a few small under-the-hood changes to icon rendering in 9.2.0 that might be the culprit, if we can isolate the issue to that then it should be fairly simple to work out a fix.

I installed 9.1.0 and played for a little while then did one Ashenvale event when it was up with icons on the entire time and never experienced the issue.
