Holiday alert pops up for Arachnis (Spectral Spider) even when disabled (?)

How do I stop track Spectral Spider in Garrison? I have 12 level 110 that occasionally have business in Draenor garrison and I've made it that Spectral Spider is always up. Whenever I port back to the garrison, it's always alerting me to go and kill the spider. The toy that's dropped is repeatable, but I'd rather not track it.
