Surprised I didn't think of this sooner, but until we have proper (automated) testing having a way to easily test various addon functionality would be quite helpful. Even later, triggering faux achievement popups, testing LibSink output, validating the item database, etc., would be useful.

As an added plus, if we add a way to access the database, we could reuse that functionality to implement features like the one mentioned in #173 more easily. Win/win?
