[ISSUE] - Clustering fails with too many nodes

Epi1278 opened this issue ยท 2 comments

Description

When creating a route with GatherMate2 data, clustering in the foreground causes the window to go blank after "hanging" for about 10 seconds. Clustering in the background while using the same data just causes significant frame drops and never actually completes (I've tested this for 30 minutes).

Essentially, if you know too many nodes, the Routes add-on will fail to complete the clustering step, meaning you can't create routes with this data.

I've found that trying to cluster in foreground with a lot of nodes (i.e. isle of dorn mining/herb nodes together for example), clustering in foreground causes the crash...clustering in background works...takes 20+ minutes or so, but doesn't crash.

Thats what clustering in background is for, as you'll always reach a point where foreground is too much for the game.
