this would the only thing i would log into each char and do the event
As a user-end solution, SavedInstances > Quest progresses > User, set quest name to whatever you want (or "Memories of Adventures Past" which Wowhead thinks might be the "official" name), quest ID 84083, and quest reset type of weekly.
(Edit - Hm, shows when completed on current character but not when on another. Oh well, still lets you know on any given character.)
(Edit2 - Ah. It's not showing a character just for completing this quest, but if they're showing for some other reason they'll show this as completed.)
