How do i get small icons like for where shops are, Ahs, transmogs, vendors etc on the map? they were automatically just there on all my 10 characters before this one this morning, and now there is seeming no way to make those show up.

You can left-click the "tracking" button (the one that looks like a magnifying glass) to choose what to track on the minimap.
