As a Hunter, the current version of SexyMap is unusable due to tracking dots being totally out to lunch. Instead of the usual expected shapes/colors/symbols for characters/NPC's/etc., the current version seems to just put out random symbols on the minimap. If it can not be corrected, then I guess I will have no choice but to go back to Chinchilla

This is an addon you use for free, not a business, so keep your moronic threats to yourself please.

In regards to your issue, SexyMap doesn't touch the inner contents of the minimap at all. Disable all your addons except SexyMap and you'll find the issue goes away, gradually enable addons until you find the culprit.
