I was thinking this as well. Pre-patch is releasing next week and it feels wrong when playing without this addon. (Its also live now on PTR if you need to do some testing)

Will there be an update for wotlk? Eventually.
If you want addon authors to spend time supporting beta, consider supporting them, to enable them to do so.
