When scaling Minimap. it appear that minimap icons (herbs, ore) also scaling. Size of icons are too much.
Can you please add such feature to resize icons scale?
May be can advice were to fix lua to change scane of icons manually?
Absolutely agreeing with this, the map is far too small by default, but scaling it up makes the icons/nodes unbearably huge
Howdy, in the SexyMap Buttons menu, try lowering the Scale (default is 1, I think). This will shrink the buttons and the circle that they fall on so that they now float inside the map space. To fix this, make the Drag Radius bigger (default is 10). This is the radius of the circle on which the buttons lie.
Scale shrinks the whole (invisible) circle with buttons. Drag Radius sets how big that (invisible) circle is.
For example, I set my entire SexyMap (main options menu) Scale to 1.4, then the Buttons menu Scale to 0.75 with Drag Radius 34.
I think there might've been a slight misunderstanding, we're not referring to the minimap buttons from various addons, etc. but referring to the various icons/nodes displayed on the minimap, such as quests, ores, banks, mailboxes, etc.
When scaling the minimap, these icons are scaled too, and the result is that they often appear far too large. The ideal solution would be an independent slider for scaling these nodes, to be honest.
I'd also like to request this feature. Chinchilla was able to do this but it's unfortunately deprecated now.
Icon size is so large that it makes it unusable. We're talking about the minimap blips! not the addon buttons!
The actual issue is that the only way to make the map larger is by scaling it... but that affects everything in its frame, including text and minimap blips and buttons...
It would be good if there was an independent frame width option, because then we could leave the scale at 1.0.
