Unknown points on the minimap

Describe the problem
Mini-map is getting filled with Unknown. This mistery vignette has no information available.
What steps will reproduce the problem?
Not sure what best way to describe this, but I'm just flying around the Dragon Isles and mini-map gets full of these. Especially if I stop to pick up a herb or alike. Haven't found any option to look into it
