This button cannot be moved and remains in the bottom right corner over the game menu key. Would be awesome it we could move it somewhere on sexy maps or make it only appear when hovered over, etc rather than being in the way and looking unappealing.

There is no such thing as an "open ticket" button on the minimap in the default UI.
Attach a screenshot here by dragging and dropping it, to show me what you mean.

That's not a minimap button, and as such, will not be touched by SexyMap.
