i dont code and have no idea what happened, i uninstalled and reinstalled. tried disabling all other addons, but sexymap is still not working. no error message, it just sent everything back to the default map.

Looks like the Twitch client pushed out the classic version of the mod.

Grab the 8.2.2 version and drop it in your addons folder

You're trying to use the retail version of SexyMap on classic WoW when you should be using the classic specific version. You should install the Twitch client to manage this for you.

If you're already using the Twitch client, try restarting your PC and loading it up again. If it still doesn't offer you the correct version, you will need to uninstall SexyMap and reinstall it.

The opposite, actually. The twitch client is pushing several classic mods to me, as a retail player.

The issue isn't this, or other mods, but the twitch client.

Have tried all of that. Still does the same thing. I copy the file into retail and I am good until I see an update in Twitch retail. I update and it reverts back to classic. Something is making Twitch not manage the different files properly.

I have this same issue. I did as suggested, but when I get an update on Twitch it reverts back to classic. How can I keep these two separate? I switch Twitch to look at either retail or classic when I look for updates, but SexyMap just isn't updating in the right folder. Thanks.

Still does not work. double checked that it was going into the right folder. i play retail. not sure what to do about it.

I quit updating on Twitch. It did it for DBM the other day. I don’t know if it is the coding on the add-ons or if it is a Twitch issue.

I have already posted the solution. Doesn't matter if you are having "the opposite issue", the same instructions apply.
