Not presently, as this is an addon from retail where pet happiness is no longer a thing. I will be adding an option in (will be enabled by default) for hunters to more easily check their pet happiness levels at a glance. For now, you can check the pet tab from the character sheet. I don't have beta access, so I have to rely on testing things in BfA / having others with beta test for me.

Expect an update in the next day or two.

I'm still looking to implement this, but I am waiting until next stress test to ensure everything is working before adding it in. I'm unable to test it until then since I lack beta access and it could adversely affect other areas if it isn't implemented correctly.

Can confirm that this is still a bug as of the latest beta test (09/08/2019-10/08/2019). Would really appreciate the update before launch. Checking the pet tab from character sheet isn't an option as it always says they're happy. Only way to tell if you need to feed them is by checking combat logs and seeing if they gain 35 happiness per tick. You spam feed them until they start only taking 1-2 per tick.
Really love your port of this amazing UI. Thank you so much if you can get this pet happiness thing working. It's absolutely brilliant otherwise.

I've pushed an update which adds an option to color the pet unit frame by happiness when playing a Hunter. It is on by default, but may be found in the Unit Frame options.

I'll make this a priority tomorrow, but I'll need to invest an hour or two getting a hunter to 10 first, so it may not get in tomorrow, but I can get it in by launch for sure.
