Bought the second rank of rend and the timer is not showing up in the middle of the screen when i apply it to an enemy. Otherwise this UI is friggin perfect!

This is probably a result of something Blizzard changed in the most recent Classic builds where they no longer provide spellIDs as part of the payload from combat log events. It broke some things that relied on that and I'm getting around to fixing them to instead rely on spell name or getting information from your spell book and/or defaulting to max rank.

I'll update this after I've made progress.
