Some options are missing (sound alert control etc.)

I tried opening a thread about being unable to mute Silver Dragon but it got closed before I was able to reply..
You see.. I don't have any options for sound control on my end. I have tried reinstalling - both install and reinstall happened through the CurseForge program.
