SD alerting for "Shiny Mechaspider" in alternate Mechagon

SilverDragon is incorrectly alerting for an NPC named Shiny Mechaspider in alternate timeline Mechagon:
As per the comments on Wowhead, this is not a rare and not interactable. It should be removed or filtered from SD's tracking.

Workaround: right-click the X box on the popup alert shown above to ignore the mob, or manually add the mob ID to the ignore list as per the instructions in the Wowhead comments.
Huh, that's actually supposed to be suppressed already.
[153088] = {name="Shiny Mechaspider",locations={[1462]={70903860},},hidden=true,},
That hidden=true
is supposed to entirely stop it appearing. I'll look at whether there's a loophole somewhere...
Didn't happen for me when I went there -- do you have the SilverDragon_BattleForAzeroth sub-addon disabled, by any chance?
I was just able to reproduce this. It's not in alternate time; it's in normal time Mechagon. The reason it triggered for me going into alternate time previously is because when you use the item outside of Rustbolt, it first ports you to the Rustbolt, and then phases you into the alternate time. The spider (in normal time) just happened to be under my cursor in the split second before I phased to alternate time.
At any rate, I removed the ignore for the mob from my list and went back to Mechagon with another toon. Mousing over the mechaspider under construction, I got the rare popup again.
Here's my enabled SD addons.
I thought the issue might be due to corruption in my profile, so I exited the game, removed the SD files from my WTF folder, and relogged in. With the default settings, mousing over the Shiny Mechaspider did nothing (but it did set off three simultaneous, loud rare alerts while I was still staring at the loading screen, scaring the pants off me). I then disabled the BfA module from SD's settings, reloaded, and moused over the spider. It triggered the alert.
Just retested with only SilverDragon (and all its submodule addons) enabled, no other addons. The behavior is still reproducible.
I retested this with v90200.10, and it's still happening. I don't think this specific issue is related to profiles, or at least not to creating and switching profiles.
Reproduction steps:
- Log out in Mechagon at the inn.
- Exit WoW and remove your SilverDragon settings file from _retail_\WTF\Account\ACCOUNTNAME\SavedVariables
- Load into WoW.
- Mouse over the Shiny Mechaspider. Note that there is no alert.
- Right click the SD icon on the minimap to open settings.
- Click on Mobs in the left menu
- Click the BattleForAzeroth tab
- Uncheck Enable
- Mouse over the Shiny Mechaspider.
Note that this immediately triggers the alerts. This happens using just the default profile.
Edit: I tested this with only SD loaded.
Oh, sorry, that is supposed to happen. If you disable the module it doesn't know about those mobs any more, and just falls back on default "I have encountered a rare that I don't know anything about" behavior.
