Worldmap Routes not working

This (https://i.imgur.com/rx0YKZC.jpeg) setting seems to be broken, I have tried uninstalling/reinstalling (both with curse forge and just hard deleting folders), deleting the saved variables option from curse forge. I dont know what else to try, the setting for minimap routes works just fine but i cant seem to get world map routes to show up. any advice would be appreciated.

It works for me at the moment. I'd suggest checking whether the routes still don't show up if you disable whatever's skinning your map, just in case that's getting in the way.

that was a great idea. i disabled all addons except silverdragon and to no avail still no routes. Minimap one still work though.

Hm, interesting. Could you tell me what happens if you shift-click on the dragon-icon in the top-right of the map window? (It's grayed out, which would normally mean that SilverDragon map icons are either disabled entirely or disabled in just the current zone -- but there's some of the icons clearly visible on the map, which is strange.)

i tried on and off a few times

i figured you might want more info. I Shift clicked and it disabled, then re-endabled nothing. i shift clicked it off, reloaded and tried again and still nothing.

Just noticed there was and update will try troubleshooting again with update.

This has been like this for me for a long time (wotlk). Once an area is discovered, the route disappears.

This is what it looks like with ALL addons disabled except Silver Dragon.

@joelgriffiths that's very helpful, thank you! That bit about it being tied to the map being revealed gives me some things to check into.

I’m glad I could help. For the record, Icehorn’s bottom location is supposed to have a path too, but it disappeared as soon as I discovered that part of the zone.

Also, I normally run a lot of Addons (including ElvUI). It’s possible that one of those addons changed depth some way or another. If I get time, I will reset my wtf folder (need to backup first) and see if that makes a difference.

Okay, this should be better in the alpha that's going out right now.

Yep. That did it. Couldn't find the alpha, but I made the same change to worldmap.lua, and it worked like a charm - addons and all.

Thanks a ton!
