For some reason the alert for the rare "Breezebiter" in The Azure Span doesn't trigger until after it has been killed.

Works fine for me - the first time. On another issue - the alert only works for 1st time kill per day. It is a daily rare... please set it by default to ALWAYS alert when its up, regardless of # of kills.

Breezebiter shouldn't be a daily rare as you can kill him as many times on the same character. As he is flagged as an Elite mob, which also has a 5 tap restriction.

I have gotten the alert to work but I am normally camping him mounted and auto focus on him when he hits me. Or I am spamming a /target macro. I haven't had that issue with it only showing after dying. I do run into the issue that if I have seen a dead rare, and it shows up again it will not give an alert. You have to relog and not target the dead corpse so it does alert.
