There's another talent addon out there, Talent Sequence, which can import strings from a website, Bobo Talents. This is nice because it allows you to create, share, and manage builds outside the game, for example on a Discord.

It might be a good feature to be able to add code to import and export links in the same format. This would allow TalentedClassic to have similar out-of-game abilities as well as be interoperable with the other addon and website.

Thank you, that's a good idea. I was already considering this but I hadn't done it yet in favour of other tasks (and playing the game!). It should be simple enough to translate import/export code from Talent Sequence's code. I will put it on the to-do list.

Both addons have their good points, it might serve to combine efforts to make one addon which has the benefits of both. Talented with the in-game sharing and talentbuilder, Talent Sequence with the website support and being able to apply builds incrementally.

Also, more developers on a project usually means that bugs get squashed earlier and the project is updated more frequently. Especially since both projects have their source open here on GitHub.
